St. Francis School Parent Information Session Recap: Exploring Literacy

If you have a child who attends St. Francis you may have heard them mention UFLI, morphemes, or CVC words? Wondering how these terms are connected to reading? We invited families to join us for a Parent Information Session to explore the exciting and innovative ways we are teaching reading at St. Francis School!

Our literacy session was a fantastic opportunity for families to connect with educators and learn more about our approach to reading instruction. It was a wonderful night filled with engaging discussions on literacy strategies, and we are grateful to the families who attended. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the dedicated staff from both the school and the board office who shared their expertise with our community.

Looking ahead, our next Parent Info Session will be in January, where we will shift our focus to math. We hope to see you there as we continue to empower families with the knowledge they need to support their child’s learning journey.
