St. Francis Wears Pink to Stand Up Against Bullying

Students dress in pink.

The third week in November is recognized across Ontario as Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week.  “At St. Francis we are all committed to working with students, staff and parents to build a safe, caring and welcoming school community. During this week, we put special emphasis on reading about and engaging students in important conversations and activities about bullying.  And on Friday, November 20th we all wore pink as a way to stand together against bullying and remind each other about the importance of always being kind,” said Kelsey Franklin, grade 2/3 teacher.
